DESCRIPTION
This Tactile Chess and Checker Set for the Blind and Visually Impaired is hand made to make the playing experience as easy as possible. The 12" x 12" board has squares of different depth for easy recognition, and holes in the center to allow the plastic pieces to stay in place while touched. The White pieces have been shaved down a bit to make the tops flat, while the Black pieces are rounded on top. The checkers are also different shapes.
  • 2 ½" tall King
  • White pieces are flat on top, black pieces are rounded
  • 12" x 12" chessboard with 1 ¼" squares
  • Squares on board are different heights
