Everyone was enthusiastic. It looks great. The only negative feedback we had is that the kids would have liked to have the numbers and letters on it. We plan two live games in the next month. Our competitors will play at a traditional board on the stage to give them something of a view of the club members who will represent the pieces. We'll spread the giant chess board on the auditorium floor. Anyway--letters and numbers would help folks who are representing the pieces move more quickly on the large board. I took away 1 star because of this issue.Just FYI: We did think about the letters and numbers and thought their absence was unfortunate. We checked many catalogs before we decided to buy this product. This was the largest board we found and the price was also the best. We think we'll just do letters and numbers on construction paper and laminate them.Overall, the board looks great and we are pleased with the purchase and the communication with Wholesale Chess.

An improvement that could be made is for there to be a bit of extra material outside the blocks and numbers and letters stitched onto the sides. This way my students can call out the coordinate locations by sight. Otherwise this is an excellent product and we are very satisfied.

We shopped around forever to try and find the most inexpensive board we could, and this was the place! The chess board, however, is huge and of great quality. We'll be using this for years to come.
