Customer Reviews of Winning Chess Exercises for Kids
John from Robertsville Winning Chess Exercises for Kids ReviewGood price, reasonable shipping cost. Received my item within 3 days. Very happy! Will do business again with you all!. Thanks.
David from Indianapolis Winning Chess Exercises for Kids ReviewBuy this book from Wholesale Chess. There currently isn't a better place to buy this book online, honestly. There are 900 problems, 300 of which are mates, 300 gain material, 100 defensive, 100 best move, and 100 endgame problems. The two items on the errata for a previous edition have been fixed. Very good explanations in the back for why a certain move is right and why other moves are wrong. Great for kids in design, although many problems will probably be quite difficult for some; they will have to work at it!
Jeff from Phoenix Winning Chess Exercises for Kids ReviewExcellent book, decent price, quick delivery. The book is for intermediate players, and is one of the best tactics books out there (and I have purchased and read a great deal of them). Starts at about 1100 level and gets progressively harder to about 1800 level, perhaps even slightly harder. The book is laid out in mates, material, and strategy on each page, each section on each page having a similar theme. The puzzles are very well thought out, and very well laid out. The answer section is very detailed and includes why certain lines are wrong. Excellent resource. My one complaint is that the binding could be stronger. Excessive flattening in a scanner can make pages fall out. This books is good enough to compete with Reinfeld's 1001 mates and 1001 combinations books, perhaps even surpass them.
Gene from Los Angeles Winning Chess Exercises for Kids ReviewGreat book of tactics exercises. Some of these problems are very tough, so not exactly for a complete beginner.
Qi from Needham Winning Chess Exercises for Kids ReviewDelivery was fast. Satisfied.
