I wanted a clock that could be easily set and this definitely does that. And because of the lever on top of the clock it is quite distinguishable from a distance as to who's turn it is to move. And the one feature that was imperative for me was to have a warning when the batteries start to run down. Needless to say, I am quite happy with my purchase.

You'll still probably need to look at the manual but you can do a lot by just messing around with it. I also have a Saitek and I found the Saitek difficult to learn. At my first tournament I had to ask a 13 yr old kid to program it for me. (Embarrassing). I think this one is easier and more intuitive.

And the shape prevents any "rocking" when you slap it with any lateral force.All that said, it is very light and has a slight rattle from the on/off switch and the control buttons, which leaves an unfortunately "cheap" impression. I have no reason to think it won't hold up over time and it's nothing I can't get used to, but it's just not quite as solid as it should be.
