The checkers have a quality appearance and feel nice when played. The large 1.5" diameter works well on my larger chess boards. The workmanship and finish are first rate. The only issue is the lack of any nesting feature when stacked. The checkers simply float atop one another as kings. I looked at other online sources, but could not find a more attractive set for a better price. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
