Description of Bubinga & Maple Chess Set with Storage
Any chess player would be elated to own this striking Bubinga and Maple Chess Board with storage drawers and pieces. (Bubinga is a warm-toned wood, somewhat like light Rosewood or light Mahogany.)The board is outlined with a narrow black border. Both drawers have a lined, divided compartment for each of the pieces to rest in when not in play.
The pieces come in Natural and Brown or Natural and Black. The king height is approx. 4 inches, making this set a perfect size for home or tournament play.

This set is made of real wood and real wood veneers. Due to the natural variation in bubinga, the dark squares may contain lighter spots which is a result of the natural variation in the wood and how the wood handles the stain when it is applied.
