Description of Chess Ending Collection
The Encyclopedia of Chess Endings (which is out of print) is a massive 5 volume set showing the correct way to play every chess ending that is known. It was originally produced in Yugoslavia in the 80's and 90's and was purchased by almost every serious Master and Grandmaster in the world. Now it is available to everyone. This set is in algebraic notation and you can use the Deep Tactics 6.0 diagram converter to convert the diagrams to interactive on the computer. Comprehensive Chess Endings was produced in Russia in the 50's and 60's and teaches the correct way to play almost every ending in normal English language suitable for beginner to Grandmasters. It was the only set of books that Bobby Fischer took with him to Iceland to use as a reference for his Championship match with Boris Spassky. This 8 volume set is considered to be an essential library for all serious chess players. This set was translated into descriptive notation.
