Description of Endgame Turbo 3 on DVD - Nalimov Tablebases
The DVD Endgame Turbo consists of 9 DVDs with endgame databases (Nalimov Tablebases). With the help of the Endgame Turbo, all fi ve- and 12 six-piece endgames (including the sophisticated and practice-oriented endgame R, P, P - R) are played with absolute perfection. Likewise, Fritz handles endgames with more than six pieces much better since the program can already access the endgame knowledge during the analysis. Definitely a must-have for correspondence players, endgame theoreticians and friends of engine matches.

Customer Reviews of Endgame Turbo 3 on DVD - Nalimov Tablebases
Leonard from Sun Lakes Endgame Turbo 3 on DVD - Nalimov Tablebases ReviewThere is nothing better
Alex from Staten Island Endgame Turbo 3 on DVD - Nalimov Tablebases ReviewThis is massive. It took 39GB of hard drive space. Chessbase recommends 43GB of free space, but it's actually a little smaller. For this to operate smoothly you did need a lot of RAM. There are ways of tweeking it if you do have a lot of RAM in your system, but you would have to go to Chessbase.com to find out. It's too much to mention here. Over all chessbase recommends not to use it on notebooks because of the lack of RAM that notebooks usally carry. I used to practice mating with B N K vs K or Q K vs R K and it works. It shows you the solution very quickly. Perfect, right to the end. You can use it with any of the chessbase playing software like Fritz or Shedder and even Chessbase 10.
