The Quality 36" Chess Demo Board with Clear Pieces & Bag is our most up-to-date, as well as our largest chess demo board. It is a huge 36" size with 4" squares so you can use this board to teach large groups of students easily.
This set also comes with a demo bag to hold the board and pieces, which makes it very convenient to store or to move from class to class. The chess demo pieces are updated to look more like the designs used by modern chess books and computers.
The clear pieces allow viewers to see more of the chessboard and include all 32 pieces plus two extra Queens and some extra stars for teaching. This complete set includes:
- 36" x 36" board w/ 4" squares
- Clear Pieces that are 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

It is heavy duty and holds up to years of rolling/unrolling and classroom abuse. the string for hanging is strong and effective. But my favorite is the piece design. The pieces look great and the clear plastic makes a world of difference, especially for newer students of chess who have a tough time envisioning the whole board.

Frankly, I'm surprised it doesn't cost more. I volunteer once a week teaching chess to 4th and 5th graders. This is going to make my job much easier and my teaching more affective. If you teach groups, this purchase is a must.

Great for groups or 20 or larger. It seems well made and should last a long time. The carrying case is a welcome bonus. Definitely recommended.
