mike from pa Complete 36" Demo Chess Board with Clear Pieces, Bag and Tripod Reviewi think this kit is perfect,nice and big for viewing at long distance, tripod a little weak but does the job,had to make small adjustment to hanging string at top,it would droop to low so i installed a small white hook on top center to hook on tripod bracket now its off floor at a nice height more like picture,before string stretch way low too maybe 1 foot off floor.hay just like everything a little adjustment and this product works alsome

It is easy to travel with and set up/put away. The tripod is very compact but is no where near strong enough to hold the top heavy board especially when moving the pieces. I just hang the board on a hook on the wall and don't use the tripod.

The only reason I'm not giving it a 5-star review is that this thing is big. I mean really big. Either the tripod in the picture is much much larger than what is shipped, or the picture of the demo board on a tripod is of a much smaller board. With my tripod, the board comes down to within a foot or two of the ground.

The only thing I did not like..there was rust in the leg connections where they were not finished or painted. Other than that, a good product.
