Customer Reviews of Knights of the South Bronx Movie on DVD
Daniel from Ft. Riley Knights of the South Bronx Movie on DVD ReviewWonderful movie. Loved every minute of it, and would recommend to anyone the least bit interested in chess.
Paul from Tumwater Knights of the South Bronx Movie on DVD ReviewGreat movie! The club kids are taking turns watching it and each time it comes back it gets two thumbs up.
Jeff from Phoenix Knights of the South Bronx Movie on DVD ReviewWonderful movie in its own right. A really neat look at the rise in chess of an inner-city elementary school class. There are certain scenes with very slight drug references in regards to one of the student's mother, but it will fly right over kids' heads. The story is incredibly heartwarming and fun. If you liked Searching for Bobby Fischer, you will certainly like this movie, which is similar in vein, but completely original. I was impressed with the kids' acting abilities, and the accuracy of the depictions of kids' reactions to chess.
