Fritz 12 F.A.Q.
Q: Can Fritz 12 be installed on my computer such that I can use it without having the DVD in the computer?
A: Yes, you can install the whole program to your hard disk. The program will ask once for the program DVD at the very first start of the interface and at the very first start of the engine in play or analysis.

Fritz 12 exceeded all my expectations. It is really a great program with great graphics. I have always bought Chessmaster from as far back as I know. I am now a Fritz convert. I liked the ribbon which is similar to Word 2007. I would recommend it to everybody. I wanted to get the Pocket Fritz but I am hard put to find a description of what it is. Whether it is a program apps for some other hardware or it comes with its own hardware. I would have liked the portability. But I am okay with Fritz 12.

Everything works wee EXCEPT for one thing. The analysis windows obliterates the analysis moves-like strikeovers on a typewriter. The final move is made is made ok-you just can't see any of the analysis.
