Customer Reviews of Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20"
Bert from Bellevue Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThe chemical smell is so strong, it will knock you over - days later, no change. Dizzying and nausea follow. I am returning this product. Buy American instead.
Peter from Seabrook Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewAgain, the school colors were a big hit. The "new" aroma is pretty heady, and you have to make sure to roll them "checkers out" to keep them from curling a bit on the edges, but they fit the bill. Satisfactory in every way.
Katrina Muller from Carrboro, NC Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewMy board came with a little nick in it. When I told Wholesale Chess about it the immediately set me a new one. And let me keep the old one. Now I have two boards, one of which I plan on giving to my nephew. the new board is in perfect condition. I didn't have to send the old one back or pay shipping on the new one. This board is a great value for the price.
Eric from Woodridge Il Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewBoard is nice. It rolls up just fine and lays flat when playing. Green squares are as expected. Light squares are more beige than they appear. Happy with the board
Dario from Denver Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewAnother reason why I think the quality at WSC might be in decline, I purchased these boards expecting the best quality in this price range for vinyl chess boards. I have bought the very same boards from WSC in the past and other vendors and there is no comparison in the quality, in fact when I received the boards I thought maybe I had made a mistake and purchased some kind of "scratch and dent" vinyl roll up boards, both boards show some pretty low quality printing of the squares. In fact there are areas where the brown squares just go into the light squares, poor quality control. One of the boards shows some use, it looks as if it was either a display piece or maybe a return. Now why is this a big deal? is it the price? not at all, it is just the fact that I know I can get more quality at this price point, I did get more quality from WSC and other vendors, so I am rather surprised by what I received.
Andrei from Champaign,IL Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThis is one of the best boards I've ever had in terms of both design and functionality. I particularly enjoy the dark forest green and the nice contrast it creates with the white squares. The contrast is crisp yet easy on the eyes, and I much prefer this darker shade of green other than the lighter, almost brighter and because of that much more distracting green hues other vendors carry. Besides that, the quality of this board is much superior to any other so called "quality board" I've ever seen; and that especially considering this formidable price range. I also have the dark chocolate brown board as well; and that also is just as good too!
sam from tappan new york Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewUseful; as described
Ron from Bossier City, Louisiana Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewHey it does exactly what it is designed for. I'm satifsfied. It looks pretty durable. I actually prefer the flexible boards over the rigid ones due to the ease of roll-up and portability. These are nice boards and well worth the price.
Mr. D from Marysville, CA Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewGreat value and class loves to play on these vinyl boards. Pieces stand out. Boards are easy to store and keep clean.
John from Austin Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThese boards are first-rate, and are high in quality.
Andrei from Champaign,IL Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThis is a very nice board with great color contrast, color imprint quality, and durability.
Carl from Ney Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThick vinyl-great
Ben from Fremont Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewClassic club gear. Reliable and durable for blitz players but with a clear and crisp production quality so you wouldn't mind analyzing a game with your grandfather on the other side.
Joe from Geneva Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewLives up to the description. Perfect size.
John from LA Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewGreat mat. I wish they sold the new silicone mats because those always lay flat, but this one is pretty good, especially if you use heavy pieces then it stays pretty flat.
Ryuta from Madison Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" Reviewgood product :)
Kathleen from Escalon CA Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewNice quality, rolls out nice and flat. I just wish you had them with purple and white squares!
Andrew from Florida Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewIt is high quality vinyl. It does the job perfectly and at a great price.
Dave from St. Louis, MO Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewQuality Vinyl Chess Board - 20"The board by which all others are judged with 2.25" squares.I like the forest green because it seems easier on the eyes.It has a light tan (buff?) color for the white squares and has a matte finish. The algebraic coordinates are on all 4 sides and the board is durable.Grab a "Large Chess Demo Board Bag" to roll this up in (with the squares facing out) and the "Executive Staunton Chess Pieces".You will have a portable set you'll be proud of and that meets all tournament standards for under $30.Pros: $5, durable, portable, tournament-sized Cons: Not free, not indestructible
Keith from Calhoun Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewA wonderful board at a wonderful price.
ioann from brooklyn Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" Reviewo.k.,but for chess 3 3/4 king board is big
Arthur from Chico Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewGreat boards. I have been using them for at least six years in my classroom and they are barely showing any wear. I just make sure the students store them flat (or rolled), not folded.
Trinh from Los altos Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" Reviewvery good and convenient to use and carry. I used it to replace the wooden board
Ryan from Virginia Beach Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThis is a great board that rolls nicely for transport and lays flat for play. Perfection!
Art from B'klyn, N Y Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewCustomer Service suggested that tried this board, it turned out to be just what I need
Sulu from Indianapolis Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThese are definitely good but the only complain i have is that when you have them folded for some time and you want to play a quick game, your first few minutes go into straightening them out. The mousepad chessboard is much better than this one and i liked that better than this one much much more.
isaiah from camarillo Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewJust cut yourself a tube to size and you've got a very handy travel board. I just used a wrapping paper tube and take it to work with me.
Noland from Sedalia, MO Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewQuality and appearance great. Shade of green is just right!
Kimo from Crestview, FL Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewGreat! Bought with weighted pieces for middle school club. Kids love them.
brian from pheonix Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewPerfect! I have six children and traditional boards don't always last so long. These are inexpensive, washable, flexible, tear resistant and good looking. They are actually quite large so they make playing really nice with a good amount of space between pieces. Storage is easy too. These are a great match for product #0140 (which I purchased as well).
JIm from Herndon, VA Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" Reviewno problems at 70F. Lays flat. (or is that lies flat?)
Jason from Old Bridge Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewPerfect size go with the green or red better contrast, it lays flat except around the edges it raises up about an 1/8 of an inch 1/4 of an inch in but it is new and this may settle in time i am extremely happy with it the price is perfect
Jim from Rockport Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewFine board, just as described, but a slight bit of curl at the extreme edges has never flattened out.to
Patty from Baldwinsville NY Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewI got this board for a Christmas present for my son. He loves it! It is nice and heavy, but rolls up easily.
Erik from Rockford Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewGood chess board. Better quality than standard vinyls because this one is softer, more supple vinyl. Pieces slide well on the soft board, but the board itself is also wont to slide around a smooth surface. It rolls easily and unrolls easily. Quick tip, don't let it get too cold it the rolled position (like leaving it in a car during winter). It will unroll again, but only after it has warmed up.
JOE from CLERMONT, FLORIDA Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewVERY GOOD CHESSBOARD AND PRICE. I WISH WHOLESALE CHESS OFFERED A 21/2 INCH SQUARE BOARD. MOST PLAYERS LIKE THE LARGER CHESSBOARD AND WOULD PAY MORE FOR IT.
Manmohan from canton Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThe board is good, but the reason I gave 4 stars is I had a higher expectation, especially since the word quality is emphasized. This board has decent quality but nothing exceptional, and the matte finish is good
Josh from Chicago Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewGood board, but it doesn't come rolled up so you might need to flatten it out before use.
Rick from Lebanon Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewEasy to take with you, durable. great price too.
Mary Ann from Perkasie Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewLoved them
Steven from Salt Lake City Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewGood roll-up mat at attractive prices, super quick shipping and delivery, all with great email communication!
Dick from Knoxville, TN Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThis is a great product. It's handsome, sturdy and relatively lightweight. I'm very satisfied.
Bryce from Robbins Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewAfter unpacking the box that I received from wholesale-chess, which included a vinyl chessboard as well as a Staunton Hastings Chess Set, I came to find that the board looked great with my Black and Natural set - I chose the chocolate color - but the board itself was quite bent up due to the fact that is was rolled up in the box. A little tip for anybody who purchases this board in the future and has this same issue just lay a couple heavy textbooks around the areas that are bent up and let it sit for several hours. After doing so the board was completely flat. Other than this fact the quality vinyl board is highly recommended to anybody who isn't looking to spend $50 on a wood board.
Britton from Orlando Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThe roll up board is nice, but needs to be flattened out each time after being stored in the bag.
Miles from Oklahoma City Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThe Quality vinyl board is heavier than most vinyls you'll see.
Josh from Durhan Quality Vinyl Chess Board - 20" ReviewThe board is the thickest vinyl board I've ever seen.
