I also own the Premier set, and while that is definitely a nice set, the two simply do not compare, in my opinion. The Super set is worth the extra $30. The pieces are much more uniform in finish, and they have a matte instead of glossy finish. This looks and feels like a super nice, expensive set.

However, the Premier Set is just as nice (if not nicer), and half the price. The two sets are similar in size and weight, the only difference is the price. Well, one more difference, the Super Staunton set is produced by House of Staunton which is slightly better plastic. It's up to you, $30 for slightly better?
