The content is excellent, though, and treats tactics as well as strategy. The book will help to provide the reader with an excellent foundation in chess.
Jeff from Phoenix Winning Chess Strategy for Kids ReviewNot a great book. This is designed for one student to work through, sort of as a chess tutor. It is not full of lessons, and not full of tactics. It's not well laid out. Compared to Coakley's other works, this stands out as the worst. However, the others in the series are splendid.
