As promised yesterday, here’s a brief look at the additions and improvements to the Wholesale Chess Member Center that will leave you smiling all day long after you’ve made your purchase of a chess set, chess clock, or whatever chess equipment you came looking for:

New Look and Design
The new Member Center looks better than ever with a new design and format to correspond with the new look to our chess site! Plus, it’s now green. I’d like to think of it as a reminder of the green you’ll be saving by signing up to be a member.
Upgraded Cumulative Volume Discounts
Effective immediately, the order history time period for member volume discounts has been extended from 60 days to 180 days! This means you can buy additional items up to 180 days after the first purchase and still keep your quantity discount! In addition, the volume amounts required for each discount level have also been adjusted – to your benefit. It’s now easier to reach 1%, 2%, 3%, and 5% discounts, and easier to keep them longer as well!
For example: Let’s say you buy $250 (before shipping and taxes) in chess equipment for the upcoming tournament – if you’re signed in as a member, you’ll automatically receive 1% off your order – in addition to whatever other offer you might receive (like a $5 off promotion or free shipping).

If you didn’t think the volume discounts were cool – you’ve most certainly got to be impressed by the quantity discounts. Effective immediately, the order history time period for member quantity discounts has been extended from 60 days to 180 days! Let’s say you bought a chess set 3 months ago, and wish you had purchased 2? Well, you can now buy the second one at the discounted 2+ price! And if you buy 2 more in the next few weeks, you’ll receive the 4+ price! In the new member center, we track your 180 day order and item history and add up your orders for greater quantity discounts!
Track Your Purchases
Are you one of the many who do a large amount business with Wholesale Chess? You can track your orders, and pull up information about past orders as well as items you’ve ordered in the past. This may not be as exciting as saving money through the volume and quantity discounts – but it’s certainly a great way to simplify life.

Can’t stand having to enter your shipping, billing, and payment information every time you come to make a purchase? Set up your account and fill in your information once – and relax. Our site is secure and your information is safe and ready for when you need it.
Wishlists!
Now you can cruise all three sites and dream away! Need to keep track of the items your school needs until you’re ready to buy? Create a customizable wish list to do the work for you. You can have as many wishlists as you like. I have a “cool jigsaw puzzles” wishlist, a “nonsense board games” wishlist, and a “tricky chess books” wishlist. Someday I’ll have the money to buy all 46 of the items on my lists . . .
