Chess fanatic? Eat, sleep, and breathe chess? This chocolate chess set brings a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘eating up the competition!’ I can hardly wait to pull out this chocolate chess set and capture a tasty pawn – biting off it’s top as a prize for victory.
A student that participated as a consultant in the recent customer and member surveys sent out to hundreds of Wholesale Chess members made this chocolate chess set and sent me pictures. If you’d like to learn more about her cakes, you can visit her blog, cakesoncall! Thanks for the pics, Lanae!

@ Harriet – As mentioned in my previous comment, please contact Lanae if you are interested in the chocolate chess set. Wholesale Chess is not affiliated in any way with Lanae, or the chocolate chess set pictured above. You can find her contact information on her blog mentioned in the article.
I am interested in purchasing this set wholesale, and am wondering the size of the board, cost, shipping to Tennessee, 38017, and anything else I might need to know to order wholesale from you.
Thanks in advance.

Here in Portland you can buy the whole chocolate set (including board) at JaCiva’s. (Google the name and Portland and you will find the website)
You can order them online for only$49.95. If you want individual pieces they can be purchased separately. Last year and the end of my club season I gave a chocolate knight to every player.
@ Eddie – That’s a good question to ask the cake’s creator – Lanae. You can find her contact information on her blog mentioned in the article.
@Bioniclime – I wondered if anyone would notice that! She’s a talented cake decorator, but not a chess player. =)
Too bad the board is set up incorrectly… It is probably delicious!
So how much does it cost?
