Members of ChessLecture said: Outstanding lecture. FM Lilov gives some excellent advice on how to create and take advantage of weak squares in the opponent's position. I found it very interesting that GM Botvinik gave up his strong Bishop so quickly in anticipation of using the c6 square as an outpost for his Knight. I also found GM Lilov's advice for creating weak squares via piece play to be very illuminating. Thanks again!

IM Valeri Lilov is a young chess talent from the small European country of Bulgaria. He currently resides in Varna, Bulgaria and works hard in the field of practical chess and chess pedagogy.
