The Drake Magnetic Travel Chess Set is handcrafted and features traditional Staunton pattern chess pieces manufactured from Indian Rosewood and Natural Boxwood, allowing for immediate recognition and use. Each of the pieces features a large magnet in its base, making it perfect for play on the go!
The complimentary chess board has been designed from Burmese Rosewood and Maple with an ebony stained perimeter. It provides the perfect amount of contrast for the wood chess pieces and has a satin finish. The perimeter of the chess board features the traditional rank and file labels, and it can be folded in half for easy storage. Inside the chess board are individual fitted compartments for storing each of the chess pieces when not in use, providing the highest level of protection.
