    Imperfect but decent

This is a decent sized bag for your chess gear but beware of the zippers! One of them broke when I was just examining the product before use. Fortunately it was just the very thin zipper pull on one of the chess piece compartments which broke and that is easily fixed with new zipper pull. YMMV. The company sent a new bag anyway so I have no issues with customer service! Nice color choices!

    Premier Tournament Chess Set Bag

The design is perfect. I saw complaints about the zippers being cheap but I think they are pretty sturdy. I don't think this bag will fall apart on me. I did have some issues unzipping it for the first time. Maybe took me 15-20 seconds. It might get easier as the bag wears in though. I am happy with my purchase.

Well made, great material, and the zippers seem sturdy enough.

NICE BAG! The re-design is very good! The zippers appear better; the pocket on the front is an added plus; All in all, a standard quality chess bag! a must have if you're using the 22" Mousepad Board. There's plenty of room for your clock; I have my DGT 3000 with the box in the bag.

Plenty of room, can hold up to 22 inch chess board, room for clock, separate pockets for dark and light pieces.

My team loves the new bags! They work wonderfully with our new Chronos clocks, too! I just wish the shoulder straps were at least 6" longer.

    Internal zippers are garbage

Posted by Shawn on 22nd Aug 2016

The exterior of the bag is high quality, and will likely last a very long time. The interior zippers are so bad that the force of a gnat fart would cause them to explode. A simple velcro flap would have been so much better. After two chess tournaments, the zippers both broke. I regret purchasing this bag.

This is durable chess bag with everything you need.

This bag is perfect for what it is. The bag itself is very sturdy and seems to be constructed very well. It fits all your pieces perfectly in 2 pouches to keep colors seperated. There is adequate padding in the middle pouch for your clock. I keep my Chronos II (($100+) ) in there and have never been worried it is going to be damaged. We keep two score books and 2 pencils in their designated spots. If you role your board tightly it fits in the loops perfectly. Not sure why anyone wouldn't give this a 5 star rating.
