Bent Larsen was a well-known Danish Grandmaster. Famous for his imaginative and unorthodox style of play. He was the first Western player to pose a serious challenge to the Soviet Union’s dominance in chess. He is considered to be the strongest player born in Denmark and the strongest from Scandinavia until the emergence of Magnus Carlsen.

Here Bill shows you how Larsen handled play while playing from Black against the Dutch, Benoni, KID, Nimzo, and Sicilian.

Content: 1.5  hours of instruction and analysis in a series of 5 lectures.

ECO: A80, A56, A05, E39, B77

Fans on Chesslecture.com said: What a wonderful lecture, thank you Bill. A sparkling game by Larsen... so many dazzling tactics. Perhaps the Benoni shouldn't evoke such sorrow after all. :)
