This board is great for travel as it can be folded/rolled/stored almost any way you want to and it will still lay flat. The thin nature of this board also makes sure you can still hear the satisfying "clunk" of chess pieces when moving them and I'm overall very satisfied with this board.

I bought both this one and the regular mousepad board. This 9ne gives you all or most of the benefits of a mousepad board but rolls up much easier than the thicker one. It does not smell. Highly recommended.
