Compared with all chess sets available on line, this one is the absolute best price out there. I almost purchased sets at double the price and not nearly as nice. I was lucky enough to have a friend tell me about this place. My students are thrilled.
This was my first purchase of a club set; very impressed with it. Logo on the right hand corner squares adds an elegant touch. HIgh quality, for being "basic".
Wasn't sure what to expect ordering from an online store. But this product was exactly what we wanted. Couldn't ask for much more.
I ordered many of these sets when they were at a bargain price. Pieces are very similar looking to some more expensive triple-weighted pieces I ordered earlier. Roll-up board is standard, not super-thin.. and came with a zippered bag for carrying around the pieces. I ordered $60 worth so shipping was free Fedex(!) .. couple of days later and my order arrived.
I was quite pleased with the product. It was a little big, but that was my fault (I didn't look at the dimentions before I purchased it). One of the queens was bent, but I got two so that didn't really matter. The only other thing: the felt bottoms on the pieces don't seem attached very well.
